A Show for Miami Artists & Works Being Seen for the First Time.
About the Exhibition
First Time is a 2026 one-day group exhibition centered on the vulnerability of first visibility.
The exhibition brings together artists who are exhibiting publicly for the first time and emerging artists presenting bodies of work that have never been shown before. At its core, First Time is interested in the moment when private practice becomes public presence and when work meets an audience for the very first time.
First Time will be presented in support of the Tom of Finland Foundation, which preserves and advocates for erotic art and creative freedom.
About the Curator
I’m Cait Agostinho, an emerging independent curator based in Miami.
My previous experience has been in advertising, marketing, and art direction where I’ve generated millions of dollars in revenue for clients in the aesthetics industry through strategy, storytelling, and visibility.
First Time will mark my debut as a curator and is intentionally shaped as the kind of opportunity I believe should exist more often: where early career artists are taken seriously, supported professionally, and introduced to an audience with care.
This project is designed as a shared beginning (mine as a curator, and yours as an exhibiting artist).

Who Should Apply?
☑️ Those exhibiting in a group show for the first time OR emerging artists with works that have never been shown before
☑️ Creating work that is erotic, sensual, bold, intimate, experimental, and/or conceptually curious in line with the exhibition theme
☑️ Interested in an emerging-curator-meets-emerging-artist collaboration & relationship
All mediums are welcome.
If Selected... Artists will receive full exhibition support, including:
- A professional exhibition venue
- Promotional advertising and outreach
- Curatorial guidance and installation support
- Photos and content documentation of the works on display + day of exhibition
